Fall Ducks

These hunts fall within the months of October into early November. Our duck hunts this time of the year are usually mixed bags hunts, consisting of wood ducks, pintails, mallards, wigeon, green wing and blue wing teal, Gadwall, and more. We generally hunt smaller bodies of water such as marshes and rivers as well as flooded timber and swamps. We like to keep the group sizes small and the hunting quality high. You'll find yourself generally within a 40 mile radius of the Montezuma Wildlife refuge where the largest number of migratory birds in the state visit every fall. Bag limit of 6 ducks and 3 Canada geese. After a good morning in the duck blind, we take a nice lunch break and generally we will hunt pheasants in the afternoon. Clients' dogs are allowed on private hunts of 4 or more.
